Basically, I'm thinking that I'm going to use.....photographs, an audio visual piece, and a blog. The identity I chose is:

One of my classes is mostly online, we do all of our posts on our class website. From my blog I was going to link to the youtube audio visual piece and documentaryshooters.com.
Now, if I can handle posting photos in the blog, I will be doing that as well. There are times when blogger wins and I lose.

I like the focus on you as photographer. I think a blog is a great choice to "hold" your other modes. If you have trouble, you might also consider setting up a profile on Flickr (pretty easy to upload there) or maybe a pro site like LinkedIn.com.
Make your life easy. Find a mode that fits and doesn't give you fits while loading media.
