The Face Behind the Camera

Writing with light.

You never know when a simple Friday night will turn into some neat photo shoot with close friends.

And sometimes I go out on the hunt. Weaving in and out of traffic searching for the right spot to point my camera at.
YYY
I see me through my eyes.
What's it like to see me through your eyes?

Just a summer trip up the coast for some fine sights.

Some pictures, I took to remember those who have passed.

Being a photographer isn't easy, I always have to go the extra step to reach what I want. The world is changing and I plan on rolling with the punches.
Speaking of the changing world...
The world of photography is changing...
A photographer in this day and age needs to have a handle on video, audio, and photography.
As part of my efforts to keep up with the pace, I collaborated with a few students from my photography class to make an audio visual slideshow.

Videos such as this are shown on an online publication. I do apologize for the poor quality of the photographs, but youtube isn't quite as crisp as I had hoped.
The way the world of photography is changing is exciting. There are more ways to show and present photographs. Now more than ever there are more places to show photographs off and get more work.
I do photography for a local Las Cruces skate team as well as a car club, small jobs such as these make it easy for me to meet more people that could be come future clients.
My passion for photography has only grown through the many struggles of learning and adapting to the technique of this art.

Your final project turned out really great. Thanks for sharing it with us. Your work is so lovely. I like them all, but I think my favorite is the girl on the streetcorner hitchin a ride. I think the word for her is "sassy." Must be a little of the woman behind the lense in that one.
It was great having you in class. Have a wonderful break.
